4 Fuji apples
2 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of brown sugar (can be replaced with honey)
8 teaspoons of butter
Add cinnamon to taste
8 table spoons of gorgonzola cheese (about 120g)
1. Wash the apples thoroughly since they will be baked with the peel. Dry and cut in half, removing seeds and core. Tip: Use a spoon to remove the seeds and leave a "hole" for the gorgonzola. Place the apples (peel down) on a baking sheet or serving dish (the same you will use to serve). In the center of each apple, put 1 teaspoon of butter. Sprinkle honey or brown sugar and cinnamon over the entire surface of the apples. Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C / 374 ° F for 50 minutes. Remove the foil, turn the apples over and bake for another 20 minutes at 200 ° C / 392 °F. Turn them over again, leaving the peels down, and bake for another 20 minutes at 210 °C / 410 °F. Place the gorgonzola in the center of the apples and bake for another 15 minutes at 210 ° C / 410 °F.
